Where is your favorite travel destination?
This is a tough question. I’ve lived in many places (Philippines, Italy, and the US) and have traveled in many other countries. I think I’d have to pick between three places—Florence, Italy is one of them. I lived there for a full school year through Cal Poly’s IP Program and it was marvelous. There is an abundance of places to see and history to learn. Second, the Philippines. My native country is beautiful—the beaches are breathtaking, the mountains are lush, and the people are what makes it home for me. Third, Belfast, Northern Ireland. I loved seeing the many natural landmarks of this beautiful country, namely the Giant’s Causeway and the coastline.

What are your hobbies/interests outside of work?
I really enjoy going out to see new places—museums/cultural centers, hiking areas, and even countries I’ve never been before. There’s so much to see in the world. I also like to play the piano and tend to my many house plants. Lately though, I’ve been dabbling in making intricate macramé plant holders and playing the piano in my downtime.
