What is your favorite building and why?
Le Corbusier designed the Dom-Ino House as a concept for mass housing and it became the foundation of modern architecture. Many of today’s buildings still use the Dom-Ino House’s concept of thin columns supporting reinforced concrete slabs to create open spaces. With the exterior skin being non-loadbearing, it can be light and transparent allowing more daylight and nature to come inside.
Where is your favorite travel destination?
Yellowstone National Park makes me feel like I’m on a planet named Tranquility. I have driven there three times and I can’t wait to do it again because I enjoy the journey as much as the destination.
