How do you contribute to the community?
Community involvement and volunteer work have always been important to me. As an Eagle Scout, I learned early on the value of service and leaving a place better than you found it. When I’m not at work, you’ll often find me attending or volunteering at San Diego Architectural Foundation events, helping support programs that connect people with the built environment. I’m also a member of the California Army National Guard, where I’ve had the opportunity to serve my state and country in a variety of roles, including supporting wildfire response efforts and civil support missions. Whether through design, service, or volunteering, I enjoy finding ways to give back to the community.
If you could live in any fictional world, which would it be and why?
If I could live in any fictional world, it would be Avatar: The Last Airbender. It was one of my favorite shows growing up because of its strong values, memorable characters, and sense of adventure. As someone in architecture, I’ve always been fascinated by earthbending—the idea of being able to shape the landscape and build a home wherever I wanted is hard to pass up.
