Celebrating FPBA’s 45th (+1) anniversary with a fabulous casino night

Guest taking a selfie at FPBA's 45+1 party

It was a full house at FPBA’s newly renovated San Diego office on June 9 as we celebrated our 45th (+1) anniversary! Our employees, clients and industry partners got together for a casino night complete with casino tables, food and beverages, a photobooth, and a themed raffle. Guests were greeted with a Kir Royale welcome cocktail and a high-value FPBA poker chip to use at the casino tables. Some rolled the dice at craps, many doubled down at blackjack, and others bet it all on roulette. One guest pulled a vanishing act at the photobooth (check out the slideshow below to find out what we mean!). We wrapped up the night by raffling away whiskey, cigars, caviar, gourmet cheese, and a custom poker set. Thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate our anniversary; we hope you had a fabulous time!

Celebrate the holidays with FPBA’s cookbook and matching game

FPBA Cookbook Matching Game

Happy holidays from FPBA! We have put together an employee cookbook to share with our clients and friends! First, you must try your hand at guessing which recipe belongs to which employee! Drag and drop each employee’s headshot to the recipe you think they submitted, then check your score to see how you did. Once you play the game, download the cookbook here.

FPBA Habitat for Humanity Build

Nothing says team building like actual building! With toolboxes and hardhats, FPBA spent Saturday, November 17, 2018, volunteering with San Diego Habitat for Humanity at a new construction site in El Cajon, CA. Led by expert staff and seasoned volunteers, the team tackled projects from roof blocking to siding installation, learning new skills along the way. Habitat for Humanity is one of the few affordable home ownership programs that serves families and individuals earning 30-80 percent of the median area income, tackling this important housing issue throughout San Diego County. FPBA’s passion for and involvement in the building industry dovetails well with the mission of Habitat, making it an easy choice for partnership. Through this volunteer day, FPBA-ers got a first-hand look at the need for affordable housing and were able to contribute to the cause while soaking up the sun, developing skills and spending quality time together. It was a fun and fulfilling day for all, and we wish Habitat the best of luck in completing the build in El Cajon!
