Where is your favorite travel destination?
In the past 5 years I have visited Humboldt County 2-3 times a year. My sister lives up there and I love to visit her and be in the gorgeous nature of Northern CA. Depending on the season we go on hikes, attend farmers markets, explore the gardens, or just hang by the beach with the mountains behind us. I love supporting the small businesses and talking to the locals about their beloved home. It has become a special place that I get to discover with my sister, and I look forward to it every year.
What are your hobbies/interests outside of work?
A couple of years ago I worked as a florist for a small shop by my house. The shop was super tiny, and the owner would work with me every shift to make sure that the arrangements were up to her standards. Eventually I had shifts at the shop by myself and was able to get a bit more creative and make arrangements outside of the catalog. I really enjoyed working with the customers and creating custom bouquets from flowers and greenery that they liked. After I finished working there, I would go to the flower market in Downtown LA and pick out flowers to create my own bouquets at home. I still create arrangements for my house and loved ones’ birthdays. It’s super relaxing and I love seeing my friends and family’s reaction to what I make for them.
