What are your hobbies/interests outside of work?
Outside of work, I love going hiking and grabbing brunch afterward with my two best friends. We’re lucky to live just ten minutes apart! When our kids were younger, it was hard to find time to get together, but now that they’re off to college, we’ve made it a habit to meet regularly for a hike or a brisk walk around the track. It’s the perfect stress relief — a little sweat, good food, and plenty of laughter and gossip!
Where is your favorite travel destination?
I haven’t traveled as much as some people who visit new places every year, but two trips stand out for me which are Korea and Canada. It’s been almost 12 years since I last visited Korea and still remember how amazing the food was and how beautiful the scenery looked. My Canada trip was extra special because it was a girls’ trip with my two best friends. I loved nature, the food, and especially the fresh, clean air.
