How do you contribute to the community?
I love finding ways to bring people together and support the place we call home. One of my favorite community projects is hosting a quarterly puzzle swap for residents near and far. What started as a small idea at my local neighborhood park has grown into a lively gathering of fifty to sixty people who come to share puzzles and their love for them. It’s been incredibly rewarding to see the community come together and have this simple moment of connection.
My husband and I also partnered with a distillery to release a special single barrel of whiskey in honor of our dog, Ziggy. All profits were donated to a nearby high-risk animal shelter that cares for pets who need it most. It was a meaningful way to celebrate our pup while giving back to an organization that makes a real difference in our community.
What is something that always makes you laugh?
Animals in silly videos always brighten my day. There is something irresistibly charming about the moments when they give a dramatic side eye or proudly “help” take their person for a walk. Those little snippets of their personalities always bring me instant joy.
